2. Scope of Services

3. Payment Terms

Payment Schedule: To initiate services, a deposit of 30% of the total project cost is required upon acceptance of the provided quote. The remaining balance is due upon the successful completion of the project, before final handover.

Accepted Methods of Payment: We accept multiple forms of payment for your convenience, including cash, major credit and debit cards, and bank transfers. Payments can be made in person at the time of service or through our secure online payment portal.

Late Payments: Timely payments are essential for the smooth progression of your landscaping project. Late payments may result in a 5% surcharge of the outstanding amount per week of delay. Continued non-payment may lead to suspension of services until the account is settled.

Invoices: Detailed invoices will be provided, outlining all services rendered, materials used, and associated costs. Any discrepancies or disputes should be reported within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. To accommodate our clients, we have established a flexible cancellation policy:

Cancellations: Clients may cancel their scheduled services by providing at least 48 hours notice prior to the appointment. Cancellations made within this timeframe incur no fees.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the total service cost, covering administrative expenses and lost scheduling opportunities.
Rescheduling: We offer the flexibility to reschedule services, subject to availability. Clients are encouraged to reschedule rather than cancel when possible to avoid fees.
No-Shows: Failure to appear for a scheduled service without prior notification may result in a no-show fee equivalent to the cost of the service.

In cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, exceptions to the cancellation policy may be considered at the discretion of Landscapers Peckham.

5. Liability and Insurance

Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the total value of the services provided under the contract. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of property, loss of business, or any other economic loss.

Pre-existing Conditions: We are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or structural issues on your property that are not directly caused by our services. It is the client's responsibility to inform us of any known issues that may affect our work.

Third-Party Services: Should our services require the involvement of third-party suppliers or contractors, Landscapers Peckham assumes no responsibility for their actions, performance, or compliance with contractual obligations.

6. Health and Safety

At Landscapers Peckham, the health and safety of our clients, employees, and the general public are of utmost importance. We adhere to all local and national health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Safety Protocols: All employees undergo regular training in health and safety procedures. Our team utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follows guidelines to minimize risks during service delivery.

Notification: Clients will be notified of changes that significantly impact service delivery, pricing, or liability. Routine updates that do not affect core aspects of the agreement may not require direct notification.

Review: It is the responsibility of the client to review the terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any updates or modifications.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the United Kingdom.
